Before they left, Hudorra had Noirah change clothes as well, and even cut her hair to a boyish style, knowing that the troopers would be looking for a young girl. He also warned Noirah against using the Force out of fear she might reveal herself as a Jedi. He told her survival was their most important goal, and that they should flee rather than fight. That night, with the cold having driven the troopers back to base, Hudorra and Noirah made their way to the spaceport under the cover of darkness and succeeded in boarding their ship to Coruscant.

On Coruscant, Hudorra hoped to find more answers to the mystery of the supposed Jedi insurrection. What he found was much more shocking. The Jedi Temple was in flames, Jedi had been killed, and as a squad of clonetroopers guarded the Temple doors a crowd began to form as a Jedi called for action. What happened next convinced Master Hudorra that the Jedi had indeed lost the war. As the enraged Jedi stormed up the Temple steps, he was cut down by blasterfire from the clonetroopers.

With the show over, the crowd dispersed and Master Hudorra spoke for the last time with Noirah Na. He told her to go into hiding, forget her past, forget the Force, and forget she ever was a Jedi. Hudorra told her that if she was to survive, she must make a new life for herself. With those final words, Master Hudorra dumped his and Padawan Na's lightsabers down a garbage chute and Na disappeared into the crowd.

Before he left though, Master Hudorra risked a brief conversation with fellow Jedi Dass Jennir. When Jennir asked Master Hudorra what he was going to do, the Bothan Jedi Master responded that he would follow his own advice saying a Jedi might be able to make a comfortable life as a gambler. With that, Master Hudorra disappeared into the crowd himself.
